About this site
Lighthouse Reef is an atoll off the coast of Belize, well offshore from the mainland and reached mainly by liveaboard or long boat trips out of Belize City or Caye Caulker. West Point II sits along the reef structure of this atoll, on the Belize District side of the barrier reef system that also includes the Great Blue Hole and Half Moon Caye. Divers here have reported Caribbean reef sharks along the site.
