About this site
Wolf Island sits in the far northwest of the Galápagos archipelago, part of Isabela canton in Ecuador, well removed from the central islands and only reachable by liveaboard on longer itineraries. It is a remote volcanic outpost surrounded by deep open Pacific water, with the terrain above and below the surface shaped by the same volcanic activity that formed the rest of the Galápagos. Its isolation is the main reason it draws liveaboard traffic through the region rather than day boats out of Santa Cruz or San Cristóbal.
