About this site
This wreck dive off Manta’s coast features a sunken shrimp boat resting at 18 meters, encrusted with colorful corals and sponges. Schools of grunts, snappers, and occasional eagle rays glide past the structure. Strong currents attract larger pelagics, making it ideal for advanced divers. Visibility varies but often reaches 15 meters. The shallow depth allows extended bottom time to explore the intact hull and marine growth. Nearby rocky outcrops host octopus and moray eels. Best dived from June to November when seas are calm.
