About this site
This wreck dive off Manta's coast features a sunken fishing vessel resting at 20 meters, encrusted with colorful corals and sponges. Schools of grunts, snappers, and barracuda swirl around the structure, while moray eels peek from crevices. Strong currents attract larger pelagics like rays and occasional hammerheads. Visibility averages 10-15 meters, best conditions from December to May. The intact hull offers easy penetration for advanced divers, with shallow sections suitable for beginners. Night dives reveal octopuses and lobsters emerging from the wreck. Nearby sandy patches host garden eels and flounders.
