About this site
Xlendi Bay is a narrow inlet on the southwest coast of Gozo, within the town limits of Kerċem, Malta. The bay cuts into steep limestone cliffs and has long served as a small fishing harbour and anchorage, with diving typically done from shore or by boat working the rocky coastline just outside the inlet. The site reaches a maximum depth of around 18 metres over a bottom that includes wreckage, and it is rated a beginner dive. Divers have also reported cuttlefish, flying gurnard, moray eels, and octopus around the site.
