About this site
Yurigahama Oki (百合が浜沖) is a boat-dive reef on the east side of Yoron Island in Kagoshima Prefecture, about 10 minutes from Akasaki harbour, with weak to moderate current. A broad sand bottom is dived at a relaxed pace, with many angelfish and hawkfish species, and eagle rays and marbled stingrays appear at times; palette surgeonfish, triggerfish, surgeonfish, emperor angelfish and dottybacks are typical.
