About this site
Blue Corner (ブルーコーナー) is a boat-dive wall at the northern tip of Yoron Island in Kagoshima Prefecture, about 13 minutes from Chabana harbour, with moderate to strong current. A steep drop-off meets clear blue water and the dive is timed to the tide for large fish: dogtooth tuna, unicornfish, rainbow runner, bluefin trevally and spotted eagle rays, with schooling butterflyfish, palette surgeonfish and many nudibranch species.
