Zabargad is an island in the southern Red Sea, off the coast of Qesm Shlatin in Egypt's Red Sea Governorate, known onshore for its ancient olivine (peridot) deposits. Dive sites around the island are reached by liveaboard, given the remote location well south of the more heavily trafficked Sinai and Hurghada dive regions.
