About this site
Zacatitos lies along the East Cape coast of Baja California Sur, north of Cabo San Lucas near the town of La Ribera, on the Gulf of California side of the peninsula. The site sits over a sand bottom and reaches a maximum depth of around 18.3 metres, generally rated as an intermediate dive. Divers here regularly encounter moray eels, octopus, and sea turtles. The stretch of rocky shoreline and open water nearby is typically accessed by boat from small East Cape communities.
