Angel's Window

Angel's Window lies within the Lembeh Strait off the northeastern tip of Sulawesi, a stretch of water long associated with muck diving on volcanic sand slopes between the mainland and Lembeh Island. The site reaches a maximum depth of around 15 metres and is rated an intermediate dive. Sites throughout the strait are typically reached by short boat rides from resorts around Bitung, and many feature critter-focused diving over sand and rubble rather than coral reef structure. Divers here have reported a wide range of nudibranchs, including Anna's Chromodoris, Batangas Halgerda, Crested Nembrotha, Many-lobed Ceratosoma, Ocellate Phyllidia, Tryon's Hypselodoris, and the slender ceratosoma, along with sightings of coconut octopus and the blue dragon.
