Rojos 1, 2

Rojos 1 and 2 sit along the Lembeh Strait between the northeastern tip of Sulawesi and Lembeh Island in Indonesia, an area built around a channel of dark volcanic sand rather than coral reef. Dive operators based in the Lembeh area and the town of Bitung run boats out to sites along this strait daily. The site reaches a maximum depth of around 25 metres, and divers have reported frogfish, mimic octopus, and other octopus species among the sand and rubble here, consistent with the muck diving the strait is known for.
