About this site
Azeguri (あぜぐり) is a shore-entry site on the Echizen coast of Fukui, with a maximum depth of 23 m and an average around 17 m. Two trapezoid reefs stand on the sand at 23 m with their tops at 8 m, so beginners can dive it on the shallower part. Current at times; suitable from beginner level. Pelagics are possible, schools of horse mackerel are typical, and in autumn bigfin reef squid can be watched hunting.
