About this site
Otokoiwa Oki (男岩沖) is a shore-entry site on the Echizen coast of Fukui, with a maximum depth of 25 m and an average around 15 m. A boot-shaped reef sits on the sand at 25 m, and a buoy in shallower water gives beginners a suitable option. Current at times; suitable from beginner level. Sea bream, fat greenling and striped beakfish are typical.
