About this site
Beacon Beach is a shore dive site in the Similan Islands, off the coast of Phang Nga province in southern Thailand, within Mu Ko Similan National Park. The islands sit in the Andaman Sea and are typically reached by liveaboard or speedboat trips out of Khao Lak or Phuket, with diving generally possible only during the dry season months when the park is open. Divers here have also reported mackerel passing through the site.
