About this site
Fantasy Reef lies within the Similan Islands off the coast of Phang Nga province in southern Thailand, a marine national park in the Andaman Sea reached by boat, typically on liveaboard trips departing from Khao Lak or Phuket. The Similans are made up of granite islands with boulder-strewn underwater terrain scattered along the archipelago. It is rated a beginner dive, and divers have reported barracuda, leopard sharks, manta rays, snapper, trevally, and wrasse around the reef.
