Turtle Rock

Turtle Rock lies among the Similan Islands, an archipelago in the Andaman Sea off the coast of Phang Nga province in southern Thailand, within a marine national park reached by boat from mainland piers and dived mainly through the dry season when the park is open. The site sits over a rocky bottom to a maximum depth of around 40 metres and is rated an intermediate dive, with light current reported alongside noted potential for stronger currents at times, and generally good visibility. Fusiliers are common over the rock, and divers have also reported angelfish, barracuda, grouper, mackerel, nudibranchs, sea turtles, snapper, surgeonfish, sweetlips, trevally, and tuna around the site.
