About this site
The Blowhole sits along the Baja California Sur coastline near the southern tip of the Baja peninsula, in the waters where the Pacific Ocean meets the Gulf of California off Cabo San Lucas, and is typically reached by boat from the Cabo San Lucas marina. It is a reef dive reaching a maximum depth of around 30.5 metres, rated advanced. Grouper, jacks and amberjack, pufferfish, and sea turtles are regularly encountered on the reef, and divers have also reported angelfish, barracuda, damselfish, eagle rays, moray eels, nurse sharks, parrotfish, reef sharks, scorpionfish, seahorses, and snapper here.
