La Paz Bay lies on the Gulf of California side of the Baja California Sur peninsula in Mexico, near the city of La Paz. The bay and its surrounding waters are a common launch point for boat trips out to nearby islands and dive sites in the southern Gulf. Diving within the bay itself is rated a beginner level site.
