Gavilanes

Gavilanes lies along the Baja California Sur coastline near the southern tip of the Baja peninsula, in the waters where the Gulf of California meets the Pacific. Sites in this stretch near Cabo San Lucas and the surrounding coastal towns are typically reached by short boat rides from local marinas. The dive sits over a reef bottom to a maximum depth of about 18.3 metres and is rated intermediate. Angelfish, grouper, lobster, and reef sharks are regular sightings here, and divers have also reported moray eels, octopus, scorpionfish, sea turtles, and snapper on the reef.
