About this site
Boulders lies along the Puerto Galera coastline on the northern tip of Mindoro, a stretch of the Philippines long popular for its sheltered bays and easy boat access from Sabang and Small La Laguna. The area sits along the Verde Island Passage, a channel known for strong currents and rich coral diversity, and dive operators based in Puerto Galera run day trips out to sites scattered along this coast. As its name suggests, the site has a rocky bottom, reaching a maximum depth of around 28 metres and rated an intermediate dive. Divers have reported frogfish, nudibranchs, scorpionfish, seahorses, and snapper among the rocks here.
