Canoe Beach

Canoe Beach sits along the coast of Maui in the Hawaiian Islands, near shoreline access points used by local snorkelers and divers on the island's leeward side. The surrounding coast is characterized by volcanic rock and sand entry points typical of West Maui, leading out to a reef bottom that reaches a maximum depth of around 21.3 metres. It's generally rated a beginner site with light current, though divers have also noted navigation can be tricky in places and stronger currents can develop. Divers here have reported nudibranchs, reef sharks, sea turtles, and surgeonfish along the reef.
