Kahekili Beach

Kahekili Beach Park sits on the west side of Maui, just north of Kaanapali, along a stretch of coastline fronted by resort development. Shore access leads out over a reef bottom to a max depth of around 15 metres, and the dive is generally rated intermediate. Divers have reported sea turtles, eagle rays, octopus, barracuda, unicornfish, flying gurnard, and nudibranchs on the reef. Large north or west swells can make entries difficult here, and the same swells can stir up the water enough to cut visibility.
