About this site
This dive site off Vis Island features a dramatic underwater canyon with steep walls covered in vibrant sponges and corals. Schools of dentex and groupers patrol the depths, while octopuses hide in crevices. The clear Adriatic waters offer excellent visibility, often exceeding 30 meters. Currents can be strong, making it ideal for drift diving. The canyon's depth ranges from 15 to 40 meters, suitable for advanced divers. Sunlight filtering through the narrow passage creates stunning light effects. Nearby, you might spot amberjacks or even a passing tuna. The site remains relatively uncrowded, preserving its wild feel.
