About this site
Cenote Jailhouse (Cenote Jailhouse) south of Tulum is an entrance to the Ox Bel Ha cave system with a maximum depth of 29 m. The entrance pool silts easily, a permanent T at about 12 m leads into tannic-stained passage, and the halocline sits near 18 m. It is a site for certified cave divers.
