About this site
Cenote Naharon (Cenote Naharon, also Cristal) south of Tulum is an entrance to the Ox Bel Ha cave system. Its passages are dark and tannic-stained, absorbing torchlight, with a halocline separating fresh and salt water. It is dived by certified cave divers; the open pool is also a swimming cenote.
