About this site
Sistema Ox Bel Ha is a cave system in the Yucatan Peninsula, near Tulum in Quintana Roo, Mexico. It is one of the longest known underwater cave systems in the world, formed in the limestone bedrock of the region and accessed through cenotes connected to the Caribbean coastline. Diving here is rated beginner, generally referring to the cavern and cenote entry points where light from the surface remains visible rather than the full extent of the connected passages.
