Coral Garden

Coral Garden lies along the Red Sea coastline near Aqaba, in Jordan's short stretch of coast at the northern tip of the gulf, an area known for shore-accessible dive sites sloping out from the beach into the gulf's waters. It is rated a beginner dive to a maximum depth of around 18 metres, over a reef bottom, with medium current to manage. Divers have reported angelfish, clownfish, octopus, pufferfish, frogfish, and Napoleon wrasse here, along with occasional sightings of barracuda and even dugong. Some have also noted barracuda and other predators as a hazard alongside the medium to strong currents, so it is worth keeping an eye on conditions even on what is otherwise a beginner-friendly site.
