About this site
Coral Garden lies along the northeast coast of Bali near Tulamben, part of the same stretch of black sand shoreline that draws divers mainly for its proximity to the USAT Liberty wreck. It is a shore-access reef site and is rated a beginner dive, making it a common warm-up or second dive for those visiting the area. The coastline here is volcanic, shelving down from the beach into the reef, typical of the shore diving found along this part of Bali.
