About this site
Secret Garden is a shallow reef site off Bali, Indonesia, reaching a maximum depth of around 8 metres over a reef bottom, with light current and a beginner grade that suits an easy, unhurried dive. Nudibranchs and pipefish are common finds here, and divers have also reported angelfish, batfish, bumphead parrotfish, clownfish, eagle rays, frogfish, garden eels, mandarinfish, octopus, reef sharks, seahorses, stingrays, stonefish, and triggerfish along the reef. Fin movement can stir up the sand and reduce visibility close to the bottom, and while conditions are usually calm, currents here have reportedly run as strong as 7 knots at times.
