About this site
Coral Island (Koh Hae) lies just off Phuket in Thailand's Andaman Sea, a short boat ride from the island's southern coast. Diving here reaches a maximum depth of around 10 metres over a reef bottom and is considered a beginner-level site, making it a common choice for those early in their diving or taking their first open water dives. Hammerhead sharks are found on the reef, and divers have also reported angelfish, batfish, butterflyfish, clownfish, eagle rays, manta rays, pufferfish, triggerfish, and even whale sharks passing through.
