Coral Kobong sits along the Lembeh Strait off the northeastern tip of Sulawesi, a stretch of coastline known for its narrow channel between the mainland and Lembeh Island. Sites along this strait are typically reached by short boat rides from dive operators based around Bitung. The site is a reef with a maximum depth of around 20 metres.
