About this site
Palmyra Atoll sits in the Northern Line Islands of the central Pacific, well south of Hawaii, and is administered as a US National Wildlife Refuge with very limited access. The atoll's reefs and passes surround a mix of natural and dredged lagoons, and diving there occurs mainly through scientific and conservation expeditions rather than commercial tourism.
