Cueva De Las Gambas lies along the volcanic southern coast of Lanzarote near Puerto del Carmen, in the Canary Islands, where lava-formed shoreline creates the cave and overhang features the site is named for. It is a cave dive over a rock and cave bottom, reaching a maximum depth of 40 metres and rated advanced. Divers have flagged the cave itself, current, depth, and decompression requirements as hazards to be aware of. Grouper are found on the site, and divers have also reported nudibranchs and scorpionfish here.
