About this site
This dive site in the Maldives' Vaavu Atoll features a stunning thila rising from the depths, covered in vibrant soft and hard corals. Schools of snapper, fusiliers, and trevally swirl around the pinnacle, while gray reef sharks patrol the edges. The current can be strong, making it ideal for drift diving. Look for eagle rays gliding past and occasional sightings of hammerheads in the blue. The top of the thila sits around 12 meters, with the base dropping to 30 meters, offering varied terrain for all levels. Visibility often exceeds 30 meters.
