About this site
Domaru (ドマル) is a boat dive at Mikiura in Owase on the Kii Peninsula coast of Mie, three minutes from the harbour and immediately beside Nanako no Dabo, with a maximum depth of 18 m and an average around 12 m. A boulder slope drops to 15 m and opens onto white sand beyond. In early summer bigfin reef squid come to lay eggs in the soft coral, and in autumn the sand is the place for shrimp gobies. No current, suitable from beginner level.
