About this site
This dive site off São Miguel in the Azores features dramatic underwater topography with swim-throughs and volcanic rock formations. Expect clear Atlantic waters with visibility often exceeding 30 meters. Schools of barracuda and occasional manta rays pass through the area. The site offers depths ranging from 12 to 40 meters, suitable for various experience levels. Strong currents can occur, making it ideal for drift diving. The volcanic origins create a unique seascape with caves and overhangs to explore.
