About this site
Dream Hole lies off Okinawa, part of the Ryukyu Islands chain that runs south of Kyushu, Japan, in coastal waters where the East China Sea meets the Pacific. The site is a cave dive with a bottom composed of cave structure, reaching a maximum depth of around 27 metres and rated advanced. Divers have reported dark tunnels and deep chambers as part of the terrain here, so route awareness matters more than on open reef. Garden eels, nudibranchs, scorpionfish and even oceanic whitetip sharks have been spotted by divers exploring the site.
