About this site
Eboshi no Hanare (エボシの離れ) is a boat site about 10 minutes from Kuchinoshima in the Tokara Islands, Kagoshima Prefecture, and condenses the island's diving from pelagics to coral. Schools of yellow-and-blueback fusiliers are the highlight, with anthias and pyramid butterflyfish over untouched coral, and pink anemonefish thought to be at their northernmost limit in Japan. In manta season it lies on the mantas' cruising route. Intermediate level.
