About this site
Labyrinth (ラビリンス) is a boat site about 15 minutes from Kuchinoshima in the Tokara Islands, Kagoshima Prefecture, on the south side of the island and sheltered from northerly winds. Crevasses, tunnels and holes run like a maze through a coral ledge, a type of terrain unusual in the Tokara chain, and there is a colony of tomato anemonefish thought to be at its northernmost point in Japan. When the current runs pelagics are as plentiful as at Hirase, combining terrain and big fish in one dive. Intermediate level.
