About this site
El Islote lies along the west coast of Cozumel, an island off the Yucatan Peninsula in the Mexican Caribbean, within the marine park that runs along that shoreline. Dive sites in this stretch are typically reached by boat from San Miguel de Cozumel, drifting along the island's reef line facing the Cozumel channel. The site reaches a maximum depth of around 18 metres and is rated an advanced dive. Divers have also reported manta rays passing through here.
