About this site
El Peñon de San Cristobal lies along the Granada coastline in Andalusia, on Spain's Costa Tropical stretch of the Mediterranean, near the town of Almuñecar. This section of coast is marked by rocky outcrops and small coves rising from the sea, typical of the volcanic and sedimentary cliffs found along this part of southern Spain. It is a shore dive reaching a maximum depth of around 10 metres, rated as a beginner site.
