About this site
Emas Thila is a thila, a coral pinnacle rising from the atoll floor in Ari Atoll, Maldives. The site reaches a maximum depth of around 24 metres, with the reef structure starting several metres below the surface and sloping down toward the sandy atoll floor. Current here is generally moderate, which helps draw fish life along the pinnacle's edges. It is usually reached by dhoni or dive boat from resorts and safari vessels operating in the atoll.
