About this site
The F4 Phantom Wreck lies in Subic Bay near Olongapo on the west coast of Luzon in the Philippines, an area long used by the US Navy before the base closed in the early 1990s. The site reaches a maximum depth of around 44 metres, which puts it well into technical or advanced recreational diving territory. Subic Bay holds several wrecks tied to its naval history, and this one takes its name from the aircraft resting there.
