About this site
Green Cave, or Zelena Spilja, is a sea cavern on Ravnik islet just off the south coast of Vis Island in the Split-Dalmatia region of Croatia. Sunlight entering through an opening in the cave roof lights the water inside with a green glow, which gives the site its name. It is typically reached by boat from Vis Island or Komiza, and divers and snorkelers alike visit for the light effect inside the chamber. It is rated as a beginner dive, making it accessible to those with limited experience.
