About this site
Half Moon Caye sits on Lighthouse Reef, one of Belize's three coral atolls, off the mainland and northeast of Turneffe Atoll in the Caribbean Sea. The caye itself is a national monument known for its bird sanctuary, and dive sites along this edge of the atoll drop off into deep water along the reef wall.
