Halifax Park sits within Port Stephens, on the Nelson Bay side of the estuary along the New South Wales coast north of Newcastle. Dive sites in this stretch of the port are typically reached by short boat trips from the Nelson Bay marina area. It's a beginner site with a maximum depth of around 15 metres, making it a manageable dive within the sheltered waters of the bay.
