About this site
Hanare No. 1 (ハナレNo.１) is a dive site at Tatsukushi in Tosashimizu, Kochi Prefecture, for intermediate divers and above. A single huge pinnacle tops out at 6 m and drops to a maximum depth of 40 m. From June to November pelagics such as yellowtail, amberjack and rainbow runner are expected, along with schools of anthias and damselfish. Current is sometimes fast, so it is suited to drift diving.
