About this site
Hateruma Double Arch (波照間ダブルアーチ) is a reef site off Hateruma Island in the Yaeyama Islands, Okinawa, dived at depths of 15 to 30 m on calm days between May and August. Two large arches open in the rock, decorated with red sea fans and soft coral, making it a wide-angle site. Whitetip reef sharks, emperor and sixbar angelfish and Kashiwa anthias are seen.
