About this site
The Hercules wreck is the remains of a C-130 Hercules aircraft, lying close to the much larger Lockheed TriStar wreck and the nearby M42 tank. It is a beginner dive with a maximum depth of 16.3 metres.
The underside of the large wings gives stable surfaces and shelter, and is frequently covered in soft corals. Lionfish and schools of small glassfish use the wings as a refuge. Divers often visit the Hercules and the M42 tank on the same dive, while the deeper TriStar is usually kept for a separate dive.
