About this site
Gorgon II is an artificial dive site off Aqaba Qasabah, on Jordan's short stretch of Red Sea coastline at the northern tip of the Gulf of Aqaba, near the city of Aqaba itself. It is a beginner site with a maximum depth of around 16 metres, making it an easy dive reached by boat or shore entry from the city, close to the borders with Israel, Egypt, and Saudi Arabia across the gulf.
